Presention at Ubicomp2019 (09-13.09.2019)

Dear readers,

Ubicomp is a conference focusing on ubiquitous computing. It is a place where researchers show what they are doing. For example, someone has developed a backpack with an icon eye on the back to indicate whether someone is in your personal space. Others have designed intelligent glasses to support people with autism by transforming details into the bigger picture (people don’t see trees but a forest). In short: many new things seen and heard.

From the project Living Well with Anne my family were present with a poster presentation (thanks to Sandra Luimes). The purpose of our presentation was to discuss with others what contribution a virtual agent can make to the well-being of people with dementia and their carers.

I am very happy I was able to meet everybody and discuss this important topic.

You can download our poster here.

I am looking forward to seeing you again.
